| Tower Equipment Company draws on experience going back to 1977. At that
time our owner began designing and erecting towers. Our first gin pole was
built in the year 1985. An erector had a pole with a bad curvature. It couldnt
be put together any other way and no replacement sections could be obtained.
This pole was one of a kind. Wouldnt it be better if gin poles were
standardized, with replaceable parts? What if a full range of poles could
be built this way? Erectors could get the type of pole they wanted. In the
length and capacity needed for any job. |
| Many erection companies have relied on us all for all of their poles.
Some have equipped their whole fleet, purchasing six or more. Our poles
have built many impressive structures. One of our PT32 boom poles was used
in 1996 in Jakarta, Indonesia, to put up Rohns largest self supporter.
It stands over nine hundred feet tall. With the resurgence in large tower
work new models were created. Many towers in the 2000 foot range have been
erected with our larger square poles. |
| We have recently moved our operation to a new location. This has allowed
us to increase storage and production space. We hope to continue to provide
a growing industry with the equipment they need.
Soon a new specification will be released which will unify the gin pole design process. We expect that this will increase the safety and reliability of our product. If you currently have in use or recently purchased a gin pole from us we will do our best to get your equipment certified with new engineering. We have built in excess of two hundred gin poles. Most are still in service. Likely you know someone using one of these poles. We take pride in providing this service to this industry. We hope that our plan of a great pole at a reasonable price is appreciated by you. |
